Heida, our waitress, jotted down Arianna and Ry’s order and ten minutes later she came behind me and asked what I would like to order. I flipped the menu around and ordered yellow bird, conch salad, and rock lobsters.

“Anything else you need?” Heida wondered, picking up our menus. We let her know we were good for the time being and settled in to wait for our food. I grabbed a piece of bread and slathered it in warm butter and popped it in my mouth.

“I’m starving. I hope this food is good,” Gabriella spoke.

“If the food is bad, please don’t go into chef mode and try to tell them how to cook,” Essence remarked.

“A chef can never turn it off,” Gabriella responded, cutting into the bread.

“I should have gotten a sweater, it's chilly now,” Ry commented and I nodded in agreement.

The sun was going down and we sat close to the beach to watch the waves and kids run around in the sand.

“All right we have the conch salad and yellow bird,” Heida said and I pointed at myself.

Another waitress came around and placed the rest of the plates down in front of the other girls.

“Thank you,” Arianna stated.

“Cheers, ladies, this is for our girls’ trip,” Rylee spoke up, holding her drink up and we clanked glasses.

“Let me try a little of your salad, Sarai,” Arianna requested.

I passed my plate over so she could take a few bites.

“Mmmmm...this is good,” Arianna said, pointing at my salad and I agreed as I held up a high five.

“I won’t be able to finish all of this, so I’ll need a to-go plate,” I said.

Essence joked about meeting more guys on the rest of the trip and Gabriella ended up ordering another plate of shellfish as we continued talking and drinking. After two hours we ended up back at the house, knocked out in our rooms from the long travel day.
